The water is regularly tested by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and water quality conditions in Ashumet Pond can change quickly, particularly during the warmer months. Before swimming—or allowing children or pets in the water—please check the latest official testing results and advisories. Test results reflect conditions at the time and location of sampling and may not represent current conditions throughout the pond.
