Ashumet Pond is Ready for Your Enjoyment
Ashumet Pond is wonderful resource for the community. Over the years, it has been renourished with sand to ensure it remains valuable to its owners. The water is regularly tested by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. PFAS and cyanobacteria have been detected. Avoid contact with foam (if present) and swallowing water. Dogs and children are especially susceptible to cyanotoxins through ingestion.
